The Korea Refugee Film Festival (KOREFF) is an annual event that shares the lives and stories of refugees through film. It is organized by APIL (Advocates for Public Interest Law), with support from UNHCR Korea, and anyone can attend free of charge. Now in its 10th year, this year’s festival brings to the screen stories of people from the Middle East, Africa, Syria, Myanmar, and beyond, people who had no choice but to leave home.

How to Get There
Arthouse MOMO is located on the B4 (basement 4th) floor of the ECC building inside the Ewha Womans University campus.
Enter through Gate 3 of the ECC building, which is visible straight from the main gate, then walk all the way to the left end.

Films Being Screened
This year’s festival shows works based on the real stories of refugees from a variety of backgrounds:
- Stories of refugees from the Middle East and Africa
- A film following the journey of Souleymane, a refugee from Guinea
- A film about the friendship of refugees from Syria
- A film capturing the lives of refugees and migrants from Myanmar

About the Organizer and Partner
APIL (Advocates for Public Interest Law) is a non-profit public interest legal organization that provides legal support to people in vulnerable situations, including refugees, trafficking survivors, detained migrants, and stateless persons. APIL works through litigation and legal applications, research and legislative advocacy, and awareness-raising activities.
