The Korea Refugee Rights Network (KORIN) is hosting a talk event featuring Gasto, a Congolese refugee taekwondo athlete who participated as a poomsae demonstration athlete at the 2022 Goyang World Taekwondo Poomsae Championships.
Gasto had to flee his home country to escape conflict and persecution, but he has kept hope alive through taekwondo. At this event, you will get to hear his journey and story in his own words. It is a short, relaxed event held over the lunch hour, so please feel free to join without any pressure.
