We Peace Korean Language School is a Korean language education program for refugees, run by MAP (Migration to Asia Peace). It offers free online classes for people who are learning Korean for the first time, or who find it difficult to join the government-run KIIP (Social Integration Program).

Who Can Apply

  • Refugees and asylum seekers who have difficulty learning Korean or cannot apply for KIIP

If you are already enrolled (2024 first semester students), you do not need to fill out a new application form. Just contact the school office directly.

How to Apply

The application process has three steps.

  1. Fill in the application form: Submit the form at the Google link below, making sure all your information is accurate. Go to the application form

  2. Take the placement test: You will need to take a short test so we can place you in the right class. The test link is provided at the end of the application form. Once you have your result, compare it with the timetables and descriptions of each class, then choose the class you want on the form. Go to the placement test

If you are starting at Level 0 (Hangeul Basics), you do not need to take the placement test.

  1. Acceptance notification: Once your application is complete, a coordinator will contact you individually to let you know whether you have been accepted.
