The We Peace Korean Language Class is a free Korean language program run by MAP (Migration to Asia Peace), a refugee support organization. It is an online course designed for refugees who find it difficult to join KIIP or are otherwise struggling to learn Korean. Classes are offered at several levels, from the Hangeul (Korean alphabet) beginner class all the way through Level 3.
Who Can Apply
- Refugees who are having difficulty learning Korean
- Refugees who are unable to apply for KIIP
If you attended We Peace classes in a previous semester and want to continue this semester, you still need to submit a new application form.

Available Levels
- Hangeul Class (Korean alphabet and basic letters)
- Level 1
- Level 2
- Level 3
If you have no knowledge of Hangeul at all, simply start with the Hangeul Class. You do not need to take a placement test in that case.
How to Apply
The application process has three steps.

Fill in the application form: Please complete the application carefully using the Google Form link below. Fill in the application form

Take the placement test: To find the level that suits you best, please take the placement test. A link to the test is included on the last page of the application form, and you can also access it directly below. Take the placement test
If you are starting in the Hangeul Class, you do not need to take the placement test.
- Check your acceptance notice: Once your application is complete, you will be notified of the result by text message.
