The We Peace Korean Language School is a free Korean language education program run by MAP (Migration to Asia Peace, mapcast.org), a refugee and human rights organization. It was created for refugees who find it difficult to enroll in KIIP, and all classes are held online.

Who Can Apply

Refugees and asylum seekers who are having difficulty learning Korean because they cannot register for KIIP.

How to Apply

Please follow these steps in order.

Step 1: Fill in the enrollment form

Complete every field in the Google Form at the link below and submit it.

Step 2: Take the placement test

After submitting the enrollment form, take the placement test at the link below.

You do not need to take the placement test if either of the following applies to you:

  • You attended the We Peace Korean Language School last semester.
  • You have no knowledge of Hangeul (consonants and vowels) at all, you will be placed directly into the Hangeul course.

Step 3: Receive your confirmation message

Once you have completed both steps above, a confirmation message will be sent to you. When you receive it, your enrollment is complete.
