What Is the Peace Academy?

The Peace Academy is an education project run by Migration to Asia Peace (MAP). MAP is a refugee and human rights organisation founded in 2015 that supports refugees inside and outside Korea, internally displaced people, and survivors of human trafficking, people who have been forced to move against their will, and works to help them rebuild their lives on solid ground.

The Peace Academy brings together people working in fields such as human rights advocacy, law, and interpretation to share their experience with refugee activists and support practitioners. This session on the People’s Voice Portal is the second in the series, following the first session on labour rights.
