MAP (Migration to Asia Peace) conducted a survey to find out how COVID-19 has affected the daily lives of refugees living in Korea. Please read the information below to learn how to take part.


What is this survey?

This survey was designed to understand how COVID-19 has affected refugees’ lives, and how refugees and refugee communities responded to the crisis. The findings will be used to make sure refugees’ voices are better reflected in future disaster response and crisis management efforts.

The survey includes 37 questions covering the following topics:

  • Social and demographic characteristics
  • Access to information
  • Physical health, mental health, and social well-being
  • Housing
  • Livelihoods and employment
  • Migration experiences and the refugee status determination process
  • Experiences of racial discrimination and social exclusion
  • Social participation
